Coaches will engage the kids with creative storylines and special themes to help them understand how to perform sport skills and build enthusiasm. Throughout the program children will be able to refine, rehearse and repeat skills.

Week 1
In the first week we will work on listening and understanding how to follow directions and improve motor skills. Here we will work on Active Play. Children are introduced to both structured and unstructured active play, as well as the fundamental movement and social skills that provide the foundation for learning basic sports skills at older ages.

Week 2
This week we will start to introduce structured games. Learning how the young body works through exercise. Fundamentals during this class are built around enhancing general muscle strength and agility. Essentially learning to control one’s body in an exercise manner.
• Follow the leader
• Ball playing
• Obstacle course and Pylon work

Week 3
We will now introduce specific sport skills. We will use drills, skill combinations and sport-specific game play at ever- increasing levels of intensity so children can continue to refine, rehearse and repeat the fundamental skills associated with sport and play at a more progressive level. The concept of ‘TEAM’ is incorporated for social and emotional development creating the sense of belonging and awareness to play together as a group.

Week 4
In our last week we combine all aspects of social and physical learning and focus on more formalized methods of training. We do however still encourage a continued focus on general motor and social skills development, but we seek to refine preparedness for the many different sports challenges they might face in life.

Not only is strength training safe for kids when done properly, but it also has numerous benefits.
Research suggests kids who are stronger and more conditioned to perform better in school and are less likely to engage in unhealthy activities. In fact, the American Academy of Pediatrics even recommends strength training for kids eight and up.Of course, all this doesn't mean kids can train just like adults. Pre-adolescents do have particular needs when it comes to strength training.

Week 1: Core development and mastering body weight exercise:
In the first week we educate your child on the foundation of movement and physical fitness. We stress posture, form and technique utilizing one’s own body weight to gain strength and confidence. Key areas are learning how to enable rotation, flexion, lateral flexion, and extension of the trunk and activating our stabilizers.

Week 2: Introduction to weight baring exercise:
Once children have mastered basic movements like burpees, push ups, pull ups, they are ready to progress to basic weight training, using multi-joint, compound exercises to start out, and emphasize form rather than the size of the load. Safer equipment such as cable based machines and hammer strength equipment will be used to show your child how to perform their movements correctly.

Week 3: Circuit training and incorporation of Intensity training:
Circuit training is an excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina. Our circuit training routine will comprise of 6 to 10 strength exercises that are completed one exercise after another. Advantages of circuit training for your child are: Develops strength and endurance Appropriate form of training for most sports Can be adjusted to suit age, fitness and health of the child Exercises that are challenging yet simple enough to make each child feel a sense of achievement in completing them

Week 4: Program design and introduction to free weights:
Strength training for your pre-adolescent child should focus on skills and technique. Week 4 is a chance to tie all the learned skills together. Since improvements from strength training come from neuromuscular development for this age group, this is the ideal time to fine tune work on all the big muscle groups, introducing free weights with relatively light loads. We will end the session by creating a personalized program that can be used for years to come.

Age groups 3-5 / 6-9 / 10-11

After a long day of school schedules and hard work, your children will love the opportunity to get creative with arts and crafts. What an excellent way to unwind while using their imagination! All in a safe and relaxing environment.

Week One: Exploration of the arts through painting

The process of painting allows a child to open there mind to new skills. Children will experiment with different approaches to painting and explore the effects of using assorted brushes and sponges.

Week Two: Ultimate Paper Mache

Children can have fun getting creative and messy with paper mache! You might not realize it, but this type of craft promotes those little minds to get busy by thinking about what they're going to create and how they're going to create it. This type of creative play promotes imaginative problem-solving skills. Each child may create and paint their own work of art.

Week Three: Crazy Colour Tie Dye

Each child will learn the technique of tie dying, creating his or her own piece. Children learn basic colour mixing and outcomes. (They are always delighted when they discover that red mixed with blue creates purple. Fun physics!)

Week Four: Sculpting from imagination.

Children will enjoy making and coloring their own Play Dough with food-colouring. Sculpting is an outstanding sensory development activity for little hands. Young children are still working on fine motor skills and dexterity. Rolling, squeezing and forming the clay helps them in this area. They will create items of their own choice to take home!
